The Enterprise
Street First Aid is a social enterprise committed to saving lives by equipping people with the skills, knowledge, and tools to respond in emergencies. Founded to address critical incidents where every second counts, we focus on practical, street-ready first aid, including bleed control and emergency response in real-life situations.

Through our community-driven projects, we deliver training to schools, workplaces, youth groups, and the wider public, while providing essential bleed control kits to ensure rapid, lifesaving interventions are possible. Supported by donations, sponsorships, and partnerships, our work empowers communities, raises awareness, and helps create safer environments for everyone.

Behind Street First Aid is a team driven by experience, skill, and purpose. Led by founder Andy Davidson and four expert directors, three ex-military and one serving paramedic,  we combine operational precision, medical knowledge, and strategic insight. Supported by a finance and NHS specialist, our passionate volunteers, trainers, and community leaders bring expertise in first aid, youth engagement, and community safety. Together, we’re united by a single mission: making lifesaving skills and resources accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Andy Davidson

Founder & Executive Director

Andy Davidson is the founder and Executive Director of Street First Aid, a social enterprise dedicated to equipping communities, especially young people at risk, with practical first aid skills for real-life emergencies. With a background in the Royal Military Police, Andy brings decades of leadership experience, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to public safety.

Drawing on his military experience in managing high-pressure situations, including repatriation and investigation of British and coalition KIA, Andy has channelled his skills into creating innovative, accessible training programs that empower individuals to respond confidently in emergencies.

Under his leadership, Street First Aid delivers life-saving training in schools, workplaces, and community settings, while also promoting initiatives like We Are Bleed Control Ready, which encourages businesses to adopt bleed control kits and first aid awareness.

Andy is passionate about giving back to the community and believes that first aid is not just a skill, it’s a responsibility. Outside of Street First Aid, he regularly speaks on remembrance and resilience, offering a veteran’s perspective on leadership, duty, and service.
