Street First Aid provides professional first aid cover for small events, up to First Responder level. As a social enterprise, proceeds are reinvested into our community projects, supporting our mission to deliver real skills for real life.

First aid provision is not only vital for the safety of attendees, staff, and participants—it is often a legal requirement. Many local authorities and emergency services expect a medical plan in place before approving events. Without suitable cover, you risk refusal of permission or event closure.

We follow national best practice, including the Purple Guide, to make sure your event meets all regulatory and safety standards.

How we assess your event needs:

• Previous event data and casualty history
• Type of event (e.g. music concert vs sporting event)
• Indoor or outdoor venue
• Seated or standing audience
• Audience profile (families, young people, rival groups)
• Estimated audience size (approx. 2 first aiders per 1,000 attendees)
• Nature and risk level of activities
• Time of year and weather considerations

Event organisers will also need to provide a risk assessment, as required by the Health & Safety Executive.
